This book includes sections on cancer treatments, managing care, emotional and physical conditions associated with cancer. It helps the caregiver deal with situations and conditions.

Confronting the Cow - A Family’s Struggle with Breast Cancer, Loss and Rebuilding by C.B. Donner (2000). Moonlight Publishing, LLC. ISBN:0-9679637-9-6. The book focuses on how the children and husband rebuild their lives after the loss of their mom and wife. The children comfort and teach the dad about grieving. After their loss, the father continues to incorporate their mom’s memory into their daily lives.

Guide for Cancer Supporters by Annette and Richard Bloch; R.A. Bloch Cancer Foundation, Inc: 1995. Intended for friends or family members of a cancer survivor, this easy-to-follow book provides information on cancer and its treatments as well as ways to support the patient.

This book covers many helpful topics for adults who need to explain the loss of a loved one to a child. The book gives informative ways adults can make children understand death, help children work through their grief, offers suggestions for remembering and celebrating the life of those lost, and how to help children move forward with life afterward.
