ANN TAYLOR Salute to Survivors

Since 1996, the Ann Taylor Salute to Survivors has been a wonderful evening of fashion and fun, celebrating women who have battled and won the fight against breast cancer. The event is on hiatus for 2009. We look forward to its return to the Komen Greater NYC calendar.

The 13th Annual Ann Taylor Salute to Survivors was held on Thursday, October 30, 2008. More than 300 people attended the event, which was held on the ground floor of the grandly-appointed new Ann Taylor store in Rockefeller Center at 600 Fifth Avenue

The evening’s high point — a fashion show of latest styles — were modeled by 14 survivor models who received the enthusiastic appreciation of those in attendance.

Models were chosen from survivors who submitted a 500-word essay to Komen Greater NYC about how being a survivor has affected or changed their lives.
