The Komen New York City Race for the CureŽ and all Komen Greater New York City events are successful thanks to hundreds of dedicated volunteers.

Susan G. Komen for the Cure was created as a volunteer-driven organization and, today, 25 years later, is an international model. Volunteers are at the heart of every national and affiliate initiative.

Volunteers provide administrative assistance to the many facets of the Komen Greater New York City operation, help with events like the Race and even plan and develop events themselves.

Become part of the Komen New York City volunteer corps!

All you need to do is fill out the Online Volunteer Application.

You should also review the online Komen Greater NYC Volunteer Orientation information.
