Community Breast Health Grants (CBH)
The Request for Applications (RFA) for the 2017 Community Breast Health granting cycle (April 2017 to March 2018) is currently available. The deadline to apply will be November 4, 2016, and award notifications will be made at the end of Februrary 2017. You must submit a Letter of Intent (LOI) prior to applying. The deadline is September 23, 2016.
Community Breast Health grants support programs providing access to breast health/breast cancer education, screening coordination, diagnosis, treatment and support for those who are medically-underserved in the New York metropolitan area. To apply for a Komen Greater NYC Community Breast Health Grant your organization must be:
- A federally tax exempt entity -- non-profit organization, government agency, educational institution or Native American tribe.
- Located in the Komen Greater NYC service area -- the five boroughs of New York City, Long Island, Westchester and Rockland Counties.
- A current or planned provider of breast health services.
The funding period is 12 months and based on the Komen Greater NYC fiscal year of April 1st through March 31st. Programs applying for the CBH grant may request up to $75,000 over this 1 year period. Organizations that have previously received Komen Greater NYC funding are welcome to apply for additional funding.
