Community Breast Health Grants (CBH)

We are no longer accepting applications for the Community Breast Health (CBH) grants program for the 2013 Granting Cycle. The Request for Applications (RFA) for the 2014 granting cycle (April 2014 March 2015) will be available in August 2013. The deadline to apply will be in October 2013 (date TBA) and award notifications will be made at the end of February 2014.

For those applicants who have submitted an application for the 2013 granting cycle, award notifications will be made at the end of February – early March 2013.

Community Breast Health grants support programs providing access to breast health/breast cancer education, screening coordination, diagnosis, treatment and support for those who are medically-underserved in the New York metropolitan area. To apply for a Komen Greater NYC Community Breast Health Grant, your organization must be:

1. A federally tax exempt entity — nonprofit organization, government agency, educational institution or Indian tribe.
2. Located in the Komen Greater NYC service area — the five boroughs of New York City, Long Island, Westchester and Rockland Counties.
3. A current or planned provider of breast health services.

The funding period is twelve months, based on the Komen Greater NYC fiscal year — April 1st through March 31st. Programs applying for the CBH grant may request up to $75,000 over this one year period. Organizations that have previously received Komen Greater NYC funding are welcome to apply for additional funding. However, all CBH grant awards are for one year only.
