Tabletop and Room Design Showcase For Third Annual Holiday House

This December, the majestic townhouse at Two East 63rd Street will be the site of the Third Annual Holiday House benefiting Komen Greater NYC. This year’s event — a designer room and tabletop show depicting the celebrations of life — was created by longtime Komen Greater NYC supporter Iris Dankner.

The show will kick off with a Gala Preview Party on Tuesday, November 30. Thereafter, Holiday House will be open to the public from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. from Wednesday, December 1 through Wednesday, December 15. There are late hours until 8:00 p.m. on Thursdays. Tickets for the event are $25.

“I am very proud to once again be creating an event like Holiday House,” said Dankner, who is a 13-year breast cancer survivor. “It combines my twin passions, my love of design and my dedication to Komen Greater NYC. I am very excited to be a part of this effort and to be working side-by-side with some of the greats in the interior design business.”

Holiday House will feature numerous top designers who are creating individual celebratory tables and rooms for a specific holiday or other festive occasion, just in time to provide great ideas for the holiday season.

"This project is close to my heart, since I have several family members and friends that have been affected by breast cancer. By participating in the 2010 Holiday House, I can honor their memories, celebrate their survivals and help raise funds for breast cancer research. When asked to participate in Holiday House again, I jumped at the chance and was impressed by the commitment, professionalism, excitement and cutting edge aspect of working with this many amazing designers!" stated Timothy G. Miller of Timothy & Associates Interior Design.
