Celebration of Women: A Luncheon & Fashion Show in Westchester County on November 17th

On Thursday, November 17th, Doral Arrowwood in Rye Brook, NY, will be the site of Celebration of Women: A Luncheon and Fashion Show honoring Governor Andrew M. Cuomo, the Today Show’s Hoda
Kotb, and PepsiCo.

“We have a great many supporters in Westchester, and we are pleased to be doing our first event in Rye Brook this November,” said Dara Richardson-Heron, MD, CEO of Komen Greater NYC.  “It is a thrill to inaugurate this new series of events with three worthy honorees such as Governor Cuomo, who has been a true champion for the breast cancer community over the years; Hoda Kotb, who has been an inspiration to millions of women since the day she was diagnosed with breast cancer four years ago; and PepsiCo, a longtime supporter of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and Komen Greater NYC.  We are truly fortunate to have all of them on our side in our fight to eradicate breast cancer as a life-threatening disease.”

Komen Greater NYC Board member CBS2 anchor Maurice DuBois will emcee the event, which will also include a fashion show featuring clothing from Saks Fifth Avenue of Greenwich modeled by breast cancer survivors.  

There will be a silent auction of items from local establishments and a book-signing of Hoda Kotb’s best-selling memoir, Hoda: How I Survived War Zones, Bad Hair, Cancer, and Kathie Lee.
