Komen Greater NYC One of 28 North American Beneficiaries
New York, NY, December 10, 2009 —— ICAP (IAP.L), the world’s premier interdealer broker, raised $18.7 million worldwide on its 17th annual Charity Day, beating the $16.3 million raised in 2008 and bringing the total raised to $119 million since 1993. Beneficiaries of Charity Day will be 120 charities worldwide, 28 of which are in North America, including the Greater New York City Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the CureŽ (Komen Greater NYC).
In New York, former President Bill Clinton, Jack Nicklaus, Boomer Esiason, Jon Bon Jovi, Danica Patrick, Jim Nantz, Arnold Palmer, Annika Sorenstam, and Billie Jean King were among the celebrities that supported the day.
