Join Doctors for the Cure and enable more breast cancer survivors to participate free of charge in the Komen Greater NYC Race for the Cure®. This year’s Race is Sunday, September 9th at 9:00 am in Central Park.
Survivors are heart and soul of the Race. In 2011, the event honored 1,600 self-identified breast cancer survivors.
Physicians may join as individuals or as part of a practice.
The purpose of Doctors for the Cure is to enable more breast cancer survivors to participate free of charge in the Komen Greater NYC Race for the Cure. This year's event honored over 1,600 self-identified breast cancer survivors.
Funds raised through the Doctors for the Cure program pay for survivor Race entry fees, as well as help underwrite Komen Greater NYC grants.

Note: Due to strict confidentiality practices, your office will need to identify breast cancer survivor patients and send them the cover letter and registration form. If you don’t have a list of survivors, their names may often be obtained from hospital radiology records. Komen Greater NYC will take care of the registration process after the cover letters and registration forms have been sent out, and we have heard from your patients.
