Our corporate partners are dedicated to helping us connect with the Greater New York City community in a unique way. Their participation in our vision of a world without breast cancer allows their customers and employees to feel truly involved in raising awareness and much needed funding that will benefit local breast health education, screening coordination, treatment and support services to underserved women and national research to find the cures for breast cancer.

• Giving House: Real Estate Gives Back Giving House, a project of the Giving Back Fund, is an organization of real estate professionals and firms who donate 15 percent of their commissions to nonprofits and important charitable causes. Beginning May 1, 2012, Giving House will launch an annual program that will benefit Komen Greater NYC through the sale of residential and commercial real estate in the Greater NYC area. Giving House was co-founded by Steve Cid and Kerry Fedigan-Cid of Prudential Douglas Elliman Real Estate. Participating agents and firms are active in their local communities.

  Contact Giving House to learn more about how your purchase or sale can be turned into an opportunity to donate to Komen Greater NYC. Giving House will connect you with a veteran agent in your area who is part of the program. Agents represent a wide-range of real estate firms. • Photos4AKure.com was created by Tara Silberg in honor of her Bat-Mitzvah and in memory of her grandmother Carol, who died from breast cancer. Tara is a talented photographer who has also enlisted the artistry of her friends, some of whom are professional photographers. For more information, visit photos4akure.com. One-hundred percent of the proceeds will be donated to Komen Greater NYC. To date, Tara has raised and donated $1,400.00.

• SFERRA has generously donated soft plush embroidered throws to be given to breast cancer patients in treatment. Komen Greater NYC grantees God’s Love We Deliver and Chemo Comfort are distributing the blankets to survivors. • Bahr Che – From January 15 through December 31, 2013, Bahr Che wine and cheese bar will donate 10% of the Prix Fixe menu to the Greater New York City Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure. • Lewis Energy has turned one of its fuel trucks Pink, and will travel a thousand miles a week, delivering fuel oil to homes and businesses in the Long Island and New York City area to raise awareness about breast cancer. One cent ($.01) from each gallon of oil delivered by the truck will benefit the Greater New York City Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure and support our vision of a world without breast cancer.
