Nominate an Outstanding Survivor,
Outstanding Co-Survivor, or Outstanding Thriver (Stage IV)

During the program in Hope Village, we will present three awards...

The Survivor Award is presented to a breast cancer survivor who illustrates the great courage under fire it takes to get through diagnosis and treatment and serve as a role model for other women and men.

The Co-Survivor Award recognizes a person who has provided unselfish support to a breast cancer survivor on her/his journey through diagnosis, treatment and recovery from the disease. The award honors a person who has demonstrated tact, commitment, compassion, creativity, patience, initiative, dependability and endurance.

The Thriver Award recognizes a woman with Stage IV breast cancer who doesn't sugarcoat the hardships of living with Stage IV disease but recognizes there is hope that can be found throughout all of her struggles and who holds onto hope at every turn in life with humor, courage, and grace.

To nominate a Survivor, Co-Survivor, or Thriver, please email info@komennyc.org and put in the subject line the award for which you are nominating someone special. Please include your name, address and phone number, a recent photo of the nominee along with up to 350 words or less on why your candidate deserves to be named Survivor, Co-Survivor, or Thriver of the Year.
